The UK’s largest construction industry event has announced its first slate of keynote speakers for 2025, including Shadow Housing Minister Kevin Hollinrake MP and London’s Deputy Mayor for Housing, Tom Copley. UK Construction Week (UKCW) London, celebrating its 10th anniversary, will take place at ExCeL London from May 7-9th.
The event, which attracts over 18,000 visitors annually, will bring together more than 300 industry leaders and experts to discuss critical issues in sustainability, planning, procurement, and infrastructure. Notable speakers include Andrew Watkin from Aston Villa FC, Alan Heron of Places for People, and senior government representative Fergus Harradence from the Department for Business & Trade.
Major industry players have already confirmed their presence, with Toshiba, Kingspan, Ford, and Fischer Future Heat among the exhibitors. The 2025 event will focus on the theme of “Growth” and feature over 200 exhibitors alongside 300+ seminars, CPD sessions, and workshops.
In a significant development for the show, UKCW London 2025 will be co-located with The Stone Show & Hard Surfaces for the first time. The event will also introduce several new specialized areas, including Workwear & PPE Live by PCIAW®, Onsite On Hire (returning to London after 16 years), and HVAC+R, a showcase for heating and ventilation solutions.
“This year sees UKCW celebrate its 10th anniversary, and consistently over the past decade we’ve attracted some of the biggest names in the industry,” said Neil Gaisford, Divisional Director of Construction. “UK Construction Week is all about conversation, debate and networking – and our speaker programme is the catalyst at the centre of all of that.”
The event is introducing a new VIP pass priced at £99 per day, offering benefits such as fast-track entry, access to an exclusive lounge with complimentary refreshments, dedicated WiFi, and free parking at the venue.
Following the London event, UKCW will return to Birmingham’s NEC from September 30th to October 2nd, 2025. Registration for the London event is now open and free to industry professionals.
