Beloved comedian and actor Rob Brydon is bringing holiday cheer to audiences across the UK with a newly announced Christmas tour for 2025. Following last year’s sold-out West End performance, Brydon will take his festive show on the road with dates scheduled in seven major cities throughout November and December.
Titled “Rob Brydon & His Fabulous Band: A Festive Night Of Songs & Laughter,” the show promises to combine musical performances with comedy, storytelling, and Brydon’s renowned impressions. The Welsh entertainer will be backed by an eight-piece band for what promoters describe as “a wonderful warm-hearted evening for all the family.”
The tour begins at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall on November 26th before visiting Brighton Dome, London’s Lyceum Theatre, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Manchester Bridgewater Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic, and concluding at Cardiff Arena on December 16th.
This latest production builds on the success of previous musical tours that have seen Brydon perform to enthusiastic audiences not only in the UK and Ireland but also Australia and New Zealand.
“Rob delivers exactly what it promises, in style,” wrote The Telegraph’s Dominic Cavendish of a previous show, while The Guardian’s Brian Logan described Brydon as a “merry-making master of ceremonies.”
Since breaking through with award-winning comedies “Marion and Geoff” and “Human Remains” in 2000, Brydon has become one of Britain’s most versatile entertainers. His extensive resume includes popular television shows like “Gavin and Stacey” and “Would I Lie To You?”, as well as film roles in major productions including “Cinderella” and “Barbie.”
Music has featured prominently in Brydon’s career, notably his 2009 UK chart-topper “Islands in The Stream” with Ruth Jones, Robin Gibb, and Sir Tom Jones for Comic Relief. In 2022, he participated in “Old Friends,” a special concert celebrating the works of legendary composer Stephen Sondheim.
Tickets for all shows on the festive tour are now available through venue box offices and websites.
