Frantic Assembly, one of Britain’s most influential theatre companies, has announced an ambitious 17-week tour of its new production ‘Lost Atoms’, marking three decades of groundbreaking performance. The show will premiere at Leicester’s Curve theatre in September 2025 before touring major venues across the country.
Written by BAFTA-winning writer Anna Jordan, known for hit TV series ‘Succession’ and ‘Killing Eve’, the production explores the complexities of modern relationships through Frantic Assembly’s signature physical theatre style. The show represents a significant collaboration between Jordan and director Scott Graham, who has led many of the company’s most successful productions.
“Lost Atoms tells the story of an extraordinary, transformative love,” explains Graham. “At times hilarious, at times devastating, it explores how memory impacts the way we look at love, and asks what makes a truly ‘successful’ relationship.”
The production forms part of Frantic Assembly’s 30th anniversary celebrations, which include several other major projects. Among these is a collaboration with Aurora Orchestra at the Southbank Centre and the return of their acclaimed production ‘The House Party’.
The tour will visit prestigious venues including Theatre Royal York, Liverpool Playhouse, and Bristol Old Vic before culminating in a four-week run at London’s Lyric Hammersmith Theatre in early 2026. The extensive schedule reflects the company’s commitment to making theatre accessible across the UK.
The creative team includes several award-winning designers, with Andrzej Goulding handling set design, Tony Award-winner Carolyn Downing on sound, and Simisola Majekodunmi, fresh from her Olivier Award success, designing lighting.
Tickets go on sale from January 30th, with different venues releasing tickets throughout February and March. The tour represents one of the most significant theatrical events of 2025, cementing Frantic Assembly’s position as a leading force in British theatre.
