The Charing Cross Theatre is currently hosting one of the most intriguing historical dramas of the season: Mrs President, a gripping new production that sheds light on the controversial and misunderstood legacy of Mary Lincoln. But as the two clash over creative control, the play questions who has the right to tell history’s stories.
