Families heading to Blenheim Palace this summer can now explore a brand-new attraction inspired by the popular pre-school animated series Pip and Posy, with a dedicated treehouse and activity trail now open within the estate’s Adventure Play area.
The experience invites young visitors to follow a trail through Adventure Play in search of Pip’s missing toy, Piggy, completing a series of playful challenges and actions along the way. The trail culminates at the newly built treehouse, where children discover Piggy — along with a new friend she has made on her adventure.
Inside the treehouse, families will find spaces designed to encourage imaginative play, including a cosy nook fitted with cushions and a large wooden chair, with walls decorated by illustrations of characters from the Pip and Posy universe. A brand-new 3D character, Becca, also makes her debut in Adventure Play, joining the familiar cast of the series as part of the immersive environment.
What Is Adventure Play at Blenheim Palace?
Adventure Play is the largest family-themed attraction in Blenheim Palace’s history. Situated within the estate’s historic Walled Garden, the outdoor play area is designed for children from toddlers through to pre-teens, offering zip lines, twisting tunnels, cargo nets, bridges, climbing chambers and — during warmer months — a water feature known as the Winding River. The attraction has been designed with inclusivity in mind, with a dedicated enclosed toddler zone and play areas accessible to children of all abilities.
Alongside the new treehouse, a shaded pergola seating area has been added, providing families with a comfortable spot to rest during their visit. Nature-themed bunting and woodland-inspired décor complete the atmosphere around the new installation.
Summer Savings and Ticket Information
Families visiting Blenheim Palace between 25 June and 1 September 2026 can take advantage of a Great British Summer Savings promotion, which includes reduced admission prices across all ticket types as well as discounts on children’s meals. Entry to the Pip and Posy treehouse and trail is included with a Palace and Play Pass, an annual pass that grants access to both the Palace itself and Adventure Play for 12 months.
Blenheim Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site set in over 2,000 acres of parkland landscaped by the eighteenth-century designer ‘Capability’ Brown, has been home to the Dukes of Marlborough since 1705. It is also the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill. Operated as a charity, all admission income is reinvested into the conservation of the Palace, its extensive collections and its grounds.
